How it works

You said YES! And now your planning the day of your dreams, oh how I love a wedding. We begin with a conversation via email, phone or skype. If you are local (Central Scotland) we can meet in person (there may even be cake, mmm). We will discuss your vision for the day, your venue, colours, flowers, décor and of course your dress (but only if you want to). Please don’t hesitate to email with images or links to Pinterest boards to help me get a feel for your style. We will discuss your stationary needs, quantities, timescales, budget and any other details.

From our discussion I will have a good idea of what you are looking for. I will put together a timeline of important dates and production times together with details on costs. Please do not hesitate to call any discuss any details.

Once you are happy with everything and you wish to order a 50% deposit will be required to begin the design process. Once the deposit has been paid we will contact you via email and the design work begins. you will be asked to review and sign our contract alongside your estimate and timeline.

I love this part! I will design 2-3 initial ideas for you based on our consultation. These will be sent to you via email in PDF format. Please look over these and provide detailed feedback. From here I will then develop a full invitation suite for you.

Full Invitation Suite
You will receive an email with a full colour PDF file for each item of stationary ordered. Please check these thoroughly; it is also a good idea to get someone else to check these too. You may request to amend wording, order additional stationary pieces or change colours. I will work with you until you are happy and love your stationary!

We do not go to print until you have approved your proofs. Once you have approved, no further changes can be made.

Once we receive final written approval of design Paper Crane is not responsible for any errors including punctuation, spelling, layout, etc. If you choose to reprint you are responsible for 100% of the printing and production costs.

Once you have approved the final proofs, the final balance of 50% will be due before sending to print.

Timescales will be discussed at the beginning however please allow 14 days for printing. Once your proofs are approved and you are happy with the design, we will send to print.
